Kids Crafts Thursday - Mother's Day Cards

I chose another easy and very versatile project for this week. Since Mother's Day is on Sunday, I thought it would be nice to have the kids make cards for their Grandparents. You could do this in any number of ways. Here is what we used:

-Cardstock (or construction paper)
-Markers
-Glue
-A Hodgepodge of other crafting items: scrap yarn, paper heart doilies, some shapes and words that I cut out using my Cricut, some stamps, and plastic beads. You could also use: sequins, glitter glue, tissue paper, and just about anything else you can think of.

Pre-Project Prep:
1. Gather all your supplies. You could use anything here.
2. Cut out the cardstock into the size card you want. I did 6"x6" cards. So, I cut the cardstock into 6"x12" pieces and then folded them in the center.
3. Put smocks on the kids and line the table with newspaper if you want.

1. Let the kids go to town! That's it...let them decide what to do with the supplies they are given. This is a good chance for them to work on developing their own artistic abilities.
